Event Description: The Bill Memorial Library is pleased to host a presentation on the Florence Griswold Museum's current exhibition, The Artist's Garden: American Impressionism and the Garden Movement, 1887-1920, on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 6:30 pm. The Artist's Garden tells the story of American Impressionism and the growing popularity of gardening as a leisure pursuit at the turn of the 20th century. Conducted by a member of the museum's professional staff, this 45-minute presentation will explore the highlights of this remarkable exhibition and the educational resources at the Florence Griswold Museum.
